About Ms. Sparschu

I am an original Rockvale Rocket turned Raven! I went to Rockvale Elementary for grades 3 -7. That means if you had Mrs. Pirtle, Mr. Demoss, or if you’ve ever heard of Coach Chestnutt…they were all my teachers growing up! I graduated from Riverdale Highschool and headed straight for MTSU. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Health Education and received my teaching license. I worked for the Tennessee Department of Health for 4 years, but knew my true calling was teaching. I have been teaching at RMS since January 2016 and have loved every minute of it!! (Maybe besides some parts of 2020 haha!) I am the RMS Assistant Tennis Coach, Teen Living Sponsor, Outdoor Adventure Club Sponsor, and RMS Rock Climbing Coach.

In my free time I enjoy hiking, backpacking, camping, rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, and anything else that gets me outside! I love spending time with my dog Murphy! I like to try new recipes! I try to make at least (3) new recipes each month. I also enjoy crafting! I can never seem to get all the glitter cleaned up!
