If you like spending time outside, making new friends, and are wanting to learn more about adventurous outdoor activities…then this is the club for you! Outdoor Adventure Club is an opportunity for students to be part of a group whose focus is staying active and healthy by participating in outdoor events. Students who want to join will need to pay $30.00 in dues, which go towards buying snacks, and materials for activities that we participate in. Outdoor Adventure Club is open to (10) 8th grade students in good academic standing. We meet the first Thursday of each month during 8th period.
Unfortunately, the club must be restricted to (10) 8th grade students because of limited time, resources, and volunteers. The following requirements must be met to be considered as a candidate.
Requirements for Outdoor Adventure Club
- Must be able to attend monthly meetings
- Parent approval and signature
- $30.00 club fee which is due upon acceptance into the club
- Complete an essay including the following information:
- Why you would like to join Outdoor Adventure Club?
- What you hope to accomplish and learn in Outdoor Adventure Club?
- What talent do you have to contribute to Outdoor Adventure Club?
