Mr. Manley and I Plan to offer a book study at the beginning of next semester for a total of 6 professional development hours. The book is titled Bold School, Old School Wisdom + New School Technologies = Blended Learning That Works by Weston Kieschnick.

The book has 13 chapters and is approximately 200 pages long. We are hoping to use resources from this book study to enhance our blended learning offered with the technology used within our building.

Chapters will be presented in a group discussion format.

You would receive 6 hours of credit, 2 to read the book and 4 hours of book discussion meetings over 3 meeting dates. Our dates for meeting in the library would be as follows:

January 14, 3:30 - 5:00 (1.5 hours)

January 28, 3:30 - 5:00 (1.5 hours)

February 11, 3:30 - 4:30 (1 hour)



The cost of the book is less than $25 and you may use classroom funds to purchase the book. If you plan to participate, please respond to me no later than Thursday, 2/12/19 by noon so we can get the book to you before we leave for the break.
