About the TDOE School Climate Survey
 
The survey was created by the Resilient School Communities Grant and is designed to support comprehensive school-based initiatives, which are frequently identified as a critical need for districts and educators.

Once the survey window closes (May 24th), the results will be published on the TDOE Climate Survey page.

 

The grant opportunity will fund the following priorities:

  1. Building Resilient School Communities  
  2. Expanding School-Based Initiatives & Supports 
  3. Increasing School-Based Supports Staff Capacity 
 
Procedures: 
    1. Teachers distribute survey permission slips to students on Tuesday, April 30th  
    2. Mrs. Sadler will send permission slip information/survey information to student/parents through Jupiter. Reminders will be sent every few days until the deadline of May 10th.
    3. Teachers will indicate on the spreadsheet whether or not student is allowed to participate as students return permission slips. This spreadsheet will be sent out each morning for teachers to update as needed until May 10th.
    4. During R&E on Thursday, May 16th, teachers will direct the students who have permission to participate in the survey to the survey link. Students who do not have permission need to be directed to an alternate activity (missing work, read, etc).  The link will be made available at the beginning of R&E on May 16th and removed at the end of R&E.
