Raven Experience

 Information on the Day

• The doors open to parents at 7:15, and the administrative introduction will begin at 8:00am in the auditorium.
• Students will be dismissed from the gym beginning at 11:10. 

 

Information provided to parents:

Arrival 

• Our front doors will open at 7:15. Students will come in through the front doors of the building to receive their nametag, cinch bag, and t-shirt. Parents are welcome to park in the front parking lot or on the side parking lot (the lot closest to the soccer fields). 
• Parents should have the email verification from GoFan that shows completed payment ready for our teachers working the registration table. Showing it from their phone is acceptable.
• Our principal's introduction will begin at 8am. Everyone should be seated in the auditorium by this time so that we can maintain our schedule for the morning's activities. 
  
  

Parent Meeting

• There is an optional parent meeting which will begin directly after our principal's introduction). It will last approximately an hour. 
• If a parent is staying for the parent meeting, they can sit with their child in the auditorium before we begin at 8am. Once all children have been dismissed for the activities, the parent meeting will begin. 
  
  

Dismissal

• Pick-up will be at 11:05 am in the back of the building. Parents will pick their child up at the back doors located by the gymnasium. We have over 200 students registered for this event, please encourage patience and we ask that parents remain in their cars. They can utilize both lanes of the pick-up line while waiting on their child. 

• Parents are also welcome to park in the front line of the high school's parking lot. They will want to use the front line of spaces beginning at the rocket (for those new to the area, the high school has a large rocket statue in the front) and going down towards the high school football field. There will be an administrator directing traffic flow so that students can safely cross.  Encourage any parent who would like this option to communicate where they will be to their child.
